Bluestem

The house is composed of four pavilions resting under a single roof. The low roof-slope echoes the gentle hillsides beyond. Due to the harsh Texas summer sun, windows are minimized on the southern face, while breezeways filter sunlight entering the bedrooms and studio. The expanse of windows on the north face provides a visual connection with the outdoors.
