Bird Residence

This design for a new residence began with preserving the mature trees. Therefore, the existing pier and beam foundation from the original 1960's home was utilized to safeguard their root systems. Further protection of these trees is addressed by the low profile roof design. Raised wood decks and concrete walks extend outward into the landscape as thresholds from house to garden.
